Tanqueray is a fine gin from England produced by the Diageo group and sold in the whole world. Initially, this gin originated from London but its currently manufactured in Scotland. Charles Tanqueray first discovered Tanqueray in 1830 in a district known as Bloomsbury in London. The first retail supply of Charles Tanqueray and Company was set up in London on Vine Street during 1838. During 1868, Charles Tanqueray passed on and his son Charles Waugh Tanqueray took over the Company, which carried on running until it was damaged severally during the 2nd world war. During 2016, Tanqueray became the best-selling gin worldwide for the first time with closely three million cases supplied.
